Etsy Blogger's features "Nico Designs" for January

Sleet and ice in Florida? Yup! That's what I woke up to this morning and actually had to dig out my old ice scraper for my car. Can't believe I still am hanging on to the old thing. What a good day to stay in, blog, and create!
So, let me introduce you to Erika, of "Nico Designs".

Currently, a SAHM with 2 babies, she claims to "sew for sanity". She makes cute tote bags and accessories. Here's one I chose as my favorite; being still in the holiday mode:

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. Oh happy day!

Well! I'm feeling a little happy today! I made some earrings for the gallery and took them there. I have to admit; I almost don't feel like my current work is not "good enough" to be in this shop. What beautiful paintings, artisan made pottery, wall hangings, glass! You can find it here: http://www.paintedfishgallery.com Then I went and picked up my check from working last week.
