Stila's Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector~Product Review
A new product from Stila cosmetics is their "Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector". Say that 3 times fast. This is from their new fall collection called "Modern Goddess". I found out about it from "Coffee break with Dani" on YouTube. You can watch her video here.
It claims to be more than just foundation. It claims to look like skin and not foundation, and to minimize the appearance of pores and blur imperfections. The product states it can be worn alone or with another foundation. It's matifying; and can be used for touch ups throughout the day.
The product is a putty-like product; like a cream to powder consistency; you do not need to apply a powder over the top of this product. As you can see, you do not get a lot of product in the compact. This is a rather pricey foundation product, with a price tag of $39.00.
Is it worth it? I'm not entirely convinced. I've worn this product alone, with another foundation, without primer and with primer. I would say that it is NOT a full coverage foundation. It did not cover my dark circles (I still needed color corrector concealer); and it did not hide my dark spots on my face. While the coverage is what I would consider to be "medium", it still left something to be desired. It is matifying, and I did not need a powder, and I only got a bit oily in my T-zone after about 6 hours of wear. I'm still playing around with this one, and haven't decided if it was worth the price. Have you tried this product? Let me know in the comments.
