Do you like free stuff?

Hello everyone! Just a short post today to let everyone know what I'm up to. What I did today: I walked early this morning and actually was accompanied by my husband, Benn. Now it's getting cooler here, and this morning was real nice. As we walked around the ponds, you could see the mist drifting upwards as the sun was coming up. Nice beginning to my day! Had to run a couple of errands, get pants tailored, stopped at my favorite store, (Macy's) if you're wondering. They are always having a sale. I saw some nice scarves that I was thinking about for display ideas for when I do an upcoming arts and crafts event. But I didn't buy them; came home thought about it checked Etsy for scarves. But, for the money I think I'll go back to Macy's tomorrow and get them.
Then I treated myself to some new earrings from Lisa at LISA'SLOVLIES.ETSY.COM and she's got a giveaway too! And now I'm sipping some jasmine green tea out of my favorite cast iron pot and connecting with all my Internet friends!
So, I'm sure everybody likes free stuff, I know I do! I found this site: called "ETSYGIVEAWAYS": http://etsygiveaways.blogspot.com/ where you can enter many, many contests and giveaways! BTW: free stuff always comes in handy for last minute gifts ideas, freebies for customers etc. I encourage everyone to stop by and check out the site. You can also list your shop's giveaway event!
Tonight I'm going to try to work on a necklace idea that I have, and tomorrow post some new items in my ESTY SHOP.

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. I tried some new snacks in this months box, so get ready for some chocolate! ~dutch cocoa sun-crunch These are cocoa flavored sunflower and sesame seed clusters. Classic Wisdom for the Professional Life edited by Bryan Curtis

What a great book of inspirational quotes by many famous people. This is a compilation of pages and pages of wisdom from authors, presidents, sports figures, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, and the like. I really enjoyed reading this book. The quotes are not just inspirational to professional people in the business world, but also, they grasp the sense of good values, and positive traits that all persons should strive for in their lives. Some of the quotes make you think and ponder over them. The book is presented in a non-descriptive cover, subtle, yet attractive. It is an easy read, not overly stuffed with nonsense, or too much content. You could read a page a day for inspiration, or daily meditation. It is not a biblical book at all, in my opinion, just great reading. I would definitely recommend this book to all who wish to aspire to a greater level of success, whether it is in a business situation, or not. This would make a great gift book as well. Maybe a coffee table book even.
