I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having.
Today: 1.77 miles
Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now.
Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets.
Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. More to come.....

The other day while feeling stuck, creatively, financially, and with no motivation, I happened to open an email from a news letter that I subscribe to called, "Embracing Creativity". The title of this email said, "If You Think You Can't Afford It". Hmmm, this piqued my interest. Sally Evans, author of this news letter writes a wonderful blog exploring the many possibilities that can be available to anyone who wants them. Come join me this weekend, Feb. 4-5th in Gulfport at the Gulfport Casino for the 6th annual 2Cool Art Show featuring artists from PAVA (Professional Association of Visual Artists). This is a great indoor smaller event that features the talents of many fine artists in jewelry design, wood, ceramics, photography, painting and more. The Gulfport Casino is located right on the water with a beautiful view.
Show times are 10 am-5 pm Saturday and Sunday. You can stop by a local beachy bar and grill for lunch too!
