My weekend

What did I do this weekend, you ask? Or maybe you're not asking. But seeing as I am running on empty right now, this is what you get!
I nursed my cold.
I remembered to back up my computer. It used to back up itself once a week; some how my settings were changed on my computer to not backup. I fixed that.
I took a bunch of photos of my new jewelry, soon to be available in my Etsy shop.
Started reading a new book, see sidebar below---------------------------->
I'm really enjoying it, haven't put it down all weekend.

My new stones finally came! I ordered some gemstones, since I want to start incorporating them into my jewelry, and create new designs. Here's what I got:

Owyhee jasper

Labradorite

Chrysoprase

These will be fun to work with.
Here's a few examples of what I've done with some stones so far.




Today, I have a custom order bracelet that I must make.
Later in the week, I have an interview. Let's hope for the best.

PS...The show I did this weekend is set up in an outlet mall. So we have to be there during mall hours! Day two is much shorter, but it sure makes for a long weekend!

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. I tried some new snacks in this months box, so get ready for some chocolate! ~dutch cocoa sun-crunch These are cocoa flavored sunflower and sesame seed clusters. Oh happy day!

Well! I'm feeling a little happy today! I made some earrings for the gallery and took them there. I have to admit; I almost don't feel like my current work is not "good enough" to be in this shop.
