What I'm doing today

Just a quick update, since I haven't blogged since Wednesday. This morning I spent seeking out shops to take my jewelry to for sale. There is a nice affluent area that should be good for art jewelry and handmade items.
Then I used Mapquest to coordinate my stops so that this could all be done is one day. These shops are 1 to 1 1/2 hours drive away.
I'm hoping to get this done this week when I have a day off from my regular job.

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. Oh happy day!

Well! I'm feeling a little happy today! I made some earrings for the gallery and took them there. I have to admit; I almost don't feel like my current work is not "good enough" to be in this shop. What beautiful paintings, artisan made pottery, wall hangings, glass! You can find it here: http://www.paintedfishgallery.com Then I went and picked up my check from working last week.
