Just my typical Saturday

Get up, take care of the cats, exercise (yes, and not my usual!), go meet my women friends, go to the library, go shopping; yes, I actually got to treat myself to some new clothes and a purse, great sales today! Then grocery shop, (my least favorite thing to do) ,came home made these earrings,


which are available here. They are a slightly smaller size than my usual, measuring 1 inch around.
Then I created this fabulous southwestern style slider bracelet:



which will probably be in my Etsy shop tomorrow.
And no, I still haven't used my new camera yet. That will be coming soon. My day started out rainy and cold, a lot colder than we are used to here in Florida!

Oh happy day!

Well! I'm feeling a little happy today! I made some earrings for the gallery and took them there. I have to admit; I almost don't feel like my current work is not "good enough" to be in this shop. What beautiful paintings, artisan made pottery, wall hangings, glass! You can find it here: http://www.paintedfishgallery.com Then I went and picked up my check from working last week. Came home to find 3 sales on my ETSY supply shop and 2 sales in my ETSY jewelry shop! Yeah! Now here's something for you. I'm having another giveaway. Thoughts on blogging

I've been blogging for some time now, (well over a year, if not 2), and have been following many blogs for that amount of time also. I've noticed that after about a year some bloggers either stop blogging, or the amount of posts decrease from daily, to weekly, to monthly, then no posts for months. Why does this occur? Do we get bored with blogging? Do we run out of things to say or write about? I guess if one has a background in writing, a blogger could potentially continue to find topics about which to write about. I find it curious, to me at least, why some folks stop blogging, especially if their followers are increasing, and their readers are increasing. I've noticed this in a couple of blogs that I followed. What I see that seems to work for some, is a repeated weekly post on some topic or the other.
