Wow, what a weekend!
Well, this is what it was like at the Joyce Meyer conference this past 3 days. The mass crowds, the music/worship, the Word, Joyce at her best (as always).
It was a real interesting experience for me to be a volunteer. I have to commend everyone on the travel team. It is a lot of hard work! I met a bunch of nice people, many who work at the home office in Missouri.
While it was fun, and inspiring, I AM EXHAUSTED! Let's see, I volunteered Thursday night and had a friend from work meet me there. She waited until I got done that night, then got us lost on the highway coming home. So I got about 4 hours sleep, and I tossed and turned all those hours, then had to get up at 5:00am to go back for the morning session. I must say that I don't function very well on less than 7 hours of sleep and I'm not accustomed to getting up at 5:00am! (But it's all for good, I'm doing something positive!) Not just telling myself that, but believing it to be true!
Today, Saturday was the last session. I'd say the resource tables can become quite crazy! I did manage to get a bunch of new cd teachings to listen to, a book and a dvd. Lot's of good spiritual teachings! I did get a good, well needed spiritual boost! But now it's time to rest! I'll get a good night's sleep tonight!
Let's switch gear's here for just a minute. It's time to vote again! My shameless pitch to get all my readers to vote for my jewelry design. It's the Vintaj Natural brass Co.'s November design challenge, I've submitted this pearl necklace:
It is number 1 on their list. You can go to:http://vintaj.com/wpblog/ click on 1 and click on vote. Voting ends November 14th. Thank you in advance. Tomorrow I've got catching up to do, but hopefully will get back on track in a couple of days!
