Too many beads, too little time

Well, just got back from visiting San Antonio, Texas. Boy was it HOT!!! But I really enjoyed it and liked it alot there....hint, hint (to my husband) Anyway, I got lots of new ideas for jewelry. I'm feeling like a little southwestern jewelry on the rise. I have some great lampwork beads from Moon Stumpp that I think I'll work with next. Had to come home and draw out some design ideas so I wouldn't forget them. As I sit here and look at my work space, I have all these plastic bags sorted for projects I left before my trip. Will I ever get to complete them all?
So today I just finished listing a number of items in my etsy shop. These items were tagged to go to my hairdresser to sell, but the new shop owner said "no" for now. She said she'll call me when she gets the shop set up and settled. STRIKE ONE.
That's o.k. though, I have many other locations that I'm going to try to offer my jewelry to. Boutiques, little shops around the cute towns here, a yoga studio or 2, and am planning to do a few arts and crafts events. Have been researching those and getting all my facts, details, sign up info in order.
Soooo, now I'm thinking about trying an experiment: posting a few items on ebay, just to see what happens. Maybe it will at least get me some exposure. Well, for now I'll post a few items posted today on my etsy shop. See ya!

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. I tried some new snacks in this months box, so get ready for some chocolate! ~dutch cocoa sun-crunch These are cocoa flavored sunflower and sesame seed clusters. Classic Wisdom for the Professional Life edited by Bryan Curtis

What a great book of inspirational quotes by many famous people. This is a compilation of pages and pages of wisdom from authors, presidents, sports figures, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, and the like. I really enjoyed reading this book. The quotes are not just inspirational to professional people in the business world, but also, they grasp the sense of good values, and positive traits that all persons should strive for in their lives. Some of the quotes make you think and ponder over them. The book is presented in a non-descriptive cover, subtle, yet attractive. It is an easy read, not overly stuffed with nonsense, or too much content. You could read a page a day for inspiration, or daily meditation. It is not a biblical book at all, in my opinion, just great reading. I would definitely recommend this book to all who wish to aspire to a greater level of success, whether it is in a business situation, or not. This would make a great gift book as well. Maybe a coffee table book even.
