We were asked this month to talk about our studio space where we create, and what we like or wish we could improve or have. My space is kind of small, I mean I use an office corner/dining room space. I have an L shaped desk which is multi-functional, as it is used as my work bench, office, computer and printer space. As you can see, my chests and tools which overlook into the kitchen; on that counter I have my tumbler, dapping tools, etc. To the right of this photo is table top work space and my computer area. As you can see, one of our cats has decided to get comfortable on top of the printer! But, my work space does tend to spill over into the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. Like I said, I use table space in the kitchen for tumbling, and oxidizing, the bathroom for rinsing, (I was warned about spilling steel shot down the kitchen sink and ruining the garbage disposal, so I decided on the bathroom for this task. Art Bead Love Chain Tour~It's my turn

I was so happy to win and get to share in the Art bead love chain tour! And what a surprise! This thing is a monster! There has to be over 100 beads on this chain. Here is what it looked like when I got it. And this is what I took from the chain. These are the one's I've identified: blue and white from imakebeads ; to the right (brown pair), silverfishdesigns Cube bead (next to the heart)made by Lori Anderson ; below, the set of 4, by ferrarioriginalbeads , and the teal and purple pair by imakebeads . Thoughts on blogging

I've been blogging for some time now, (well over a year, if not 2), and have been following many blogs for that amount of time also. I've noticed that after about a year some bloggers either stop blogging, or the amount of posts decrease from daily, to weekly, to monthly, then no posts for months. Why does this occur? Do we get bored with blogging? Do we run out of things to say or write about? I guess if one has a background in writing, a blogger could potentially continue to find topics about which to write about. I find it curious, to me at least, why some folks stop blogging, especially if their followers are increasing, and their readers are increasing. I've noticed this in a couple of blogs that I followed. What I see that seems to work for some, is a repeated weekly post on some topic or the other. For example, some have specific days that they: run a contest, do a tutorial, have group topics to post on (blog carnivals), interview other artisans, post recipes, or boo...
