Happy Friday!

It's a lite post for today. This morning I had my appointment at the Florida Craftsmen. They were quite pleased with the selections I brought in for the gallery.
I took myself out to a nice lunch of Thai food. Yum!



Made a quick shopping run. Then came home and finished a few more new pieces of jewelry. The humidity was down today, making it a little more bearable outside. Overall, a good day! How was your Friday?

I remember in the Artist's Way, it talked about taking yourself out on a date every week. Now, that sounds like a fun date! And it sounds that you were encouraged by your meeting. Good deal! {:--D

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. Oh happy day!

Well! I'm feeling a little happy today! I made some earrings for the gallery and took them there. I have to admit; I almost don't feel like my current work is not "good enough" to be in this shop. What beautiful paintings, artisan made pottery, wall hangings, glass! You can find it here: http://www.paintedfishgallery.com Then I went and picked up my check from working last week.
