Getting momentum

I finally have some new jewelry to share with you! You know, it's hard creating on demand, as I sometimes feel. With working a day job, by time I get home, I'm too tired, feel like I'm brain dead and have nothing left to give. (oh, how wonderful it would be if I could make this my full time job and have all the creative time in the world!) ~I must be careful what I ask for, as I already know from experience~
ANYWAY, I've been trying to complete this lariat necklace and earring set for about 3 weeks now. Finally complete, to my liking and already in my Etsy shop.

And this unisex bracelet, that I made similar to a pair of earrings that I made for myself.


And yesterday, while I was on a "creative roll", I made these earrings:
"Expressions in Organics"

They will all be available in my Etsy shop soon!
BTW: If you see something you really like, you might just want to go ahead and purchase, or set up for layaway. Many times I move new items to local shops and they will not be listing on line. Just FYI!

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. Oh happy day!

Well! I'm feeling a little happy today! I made some earrings for the gallery and took them there. I have to admit; I almost don't feel like my current work is not "good enough" to be in this shop. What beautiful paintings, artisan made pottery, wall hangings, glass! You can find it here: http://www.paintedfishgallery.com Then I went and picked up my check from working last week.
