Floral Splendor

As promised, here's the Floral Splendor necklace to match the bracelet that I posted the other day. I love how this turned out! Prettier that I actually thought it would. Lots of sterling silver used for this one. It has artisan lampwork beads by Melissa Vess and African Kazuri beads.
Now tomorrow I hope to add to my shop another bracelet (that I really like for myself) called "Arabian Nights". Oh, I might as well show you now.

It's got artisan lampwork again and I used a combination of sterling and copper to create this twisted wire. I think I'll be doing more this this combo wire. It looks like rose gold. Very pretty! And a funky style swan clasp.

I just finished listing some new supplies in my supply shop also today.
Lots of sterling silver. More to come tomorrow. I just bought so much supplies for myself, and now I'll never use it all.
Got together my my lady friends this morning. Sold the brass and turquoise hoop earrings that I just made. Yeah! Now I've got a friend who wants me to make a couple of anklets for her. I'm going to try and finish them by Wednesday, before she goes away on a trip.
Monday, another job interview. Wish me luck. I'll be back, later.

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. I tried some new snacks in this months box, so get ready for some chocolate! ~dutch cocoa sun-crunch These are cocoa flavored sunflower and sesame seed clusters. Classic Wisdom for the Professional Life edited by Bryan Curtis

What a great book of inspirational quotes by many famous people. This is a compilation of pages and pages of wisdom from authors, presidents, sports figures, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, and the like. I really enjoyed reading this book. The quotes are not just inspirational to professional people in the business world, but also, they grasp the sense of good values, and positive traits that all persons should strive for in their lives. Some of the quotes make you think and ponder over them. The book is presented in a non-descriptive cover, subtle, yet attractive. It is an easy read, not overly stuffed with nonsense, or too much content. You could read a page a day for inspiration, or daily meditation. It is not a biblical book at all, in my opinion, just great reading. I would definitely recommend this book to all who wish to aspire to a greater level of success, whether it is in a business situation, or not. This would make a great gift book as well. Maybe a coffee table book even.
