Look what was outside this morning


Some kind of moth, I guess, but boy, it is beautiful! It is at least 6 inches across. I just had to run back in the house this morning and grab the camera!
I did go back to Macy's today to get those scarves I mentioned yesterday. Check them out. I think they'll make for a nice interesting and colorful display.


And last night I did make that necklace that I was talking about. These lampwork beads are the creation of Carey of Sassy Stoppers. I bought these so long ago, she probably won't even remember! I'll send her a message shortly!
It's a pretty chain of diamond and circle shapes, with the beads and Karen Hill Tribe leaf design bead caps, and little dangles of gemstones. Not too "far out" as I sometimes tend to be. But it is a real pretty and wearable piece.


And I had some left over lampwork beads from last week's Asian Influence necklace so I made these cute filigree earrings....


And they're real affordable too. Just $10.00. The new pieces are now available in my Etsy shop... Oh! don't forget I'm doing the BOGO EARRING SALE TONIGHT...sale is good until 6:00am Sunday morning EST. And you have to look around in the various sections of my shop because earrings are found all over NOT just in the earring section. Here's a few choices:

Post July 4th workout and update

I took off a week from running since my legs were hurting everyday, all day. So it was a bit challenging to start back up this week. I'm so greatful for the cooler mornings that we've been having. Today: 1.77 miles Weight: let's not talk about it; I'm on a see-saw right now. Eating fairly well. Staying away from sweets. Bought a new swimsuit yesterday, so can start swimming when it is too hot to run or walk. Not your traditional swimwear; I wanted something to exercise and do laps in. It's more for cross-training. Oh happy day!

Well! I'm feeling a little happy today! I made some earrings for the gallery and took them there. I have to admit; I almost don't feel like my current work is not "good enough" to be in this shop.
