Rings! Organic and completely unique in design. These rings are made of all sterling silver. I use a wide band and added some texture, then I start with a solid base piece of silver in a shape I want to ring to take form into. Then I melt, and reticulate the silver into patterns that look pleasing, while adding silver (or other metals) dots or pieces of metal. You can get any type of free-form pattern this way. Look at the random splatter pattern I got on this one. Cool huh? You can find these and other rings in my Etsy shop here .

Quick tip for re-purposing candle lids

Do you like candles? Do you have a lot of them? If you're like me you do, and if like me you hate to waste anything- re-purpose! If you're a beader or jewelry maker, here's a tip for you. I save the lids and use them as project pans. I keep my separate projects that I'm working on in each lid. They keep those tiny parts together. You can even stack your projects together to save space. Let me know if you have tried this or any other quick tip you might want to share!
