Do you follow the fashion trends? Every season designers introduce new color schemes for use in fashion, home decor and more. Pantone , a leading authority on color offers all sorts of ways to express color. And since summer is already upon us, I thought I'd show Pantone's fall 2012 color collection. The colors include: (from top to bottom; left to right) french roast ***************** Bright Chartreuse honey gold ***************** Olympian blue pink flambe' ***************** titanium tangerine tango **************** rhapsody Ultramarine Green ************** rose smoke Patone's color of the year is "Tangerine Tango". Here's a look at my latest creations using sterling silver and copper, creating heat patinas. What fabulous colors I got using a torch! You can see the speckled effect on the domed ovals above. This pair features domed copper discs and hand forged bar links above (an interesting shape for the sterling) Long bars with riveted textured small discs. Minimalist hoops. Fine details in hot pink and golden hues. Hand cut ovals with a pretty floral bead dangle and garnet CZ drop. These are all lacquer finished to seal the colors. I have not yet posted them in my Etsy shop ; if there is a pair that you would like, please let me know; leave a comment with contact info, and I'll get back to you before I list them in my shop . I'm hoping to get some listed this week. AND, I have a few more designs to follow!

I've been a bit hidden from the WWW this week. We had a death in the family. But I'm back in full force. Now, 3 new metal bracelets! I got to use a lot of metalsmithing skills in creating these bracelets. First of all, these are all hand cut or sawed from sheet metal. I used rivets in all of these. This one: https://www.etsy.com/listing/100190875/metal-bracelet-silver-ovals-and I used the techniques of soldering, sawing out the holes where the copper O rings are, stamping with design stamps and different texture hammers, and creating the balled sterling connector pieces.
